1. Surface preparation:
• Clean the surface of contaminations, old wallpaper, paint, peeling paint, nails and more;
• Prior to applying liquid wallpaper, prime the surface to prevent rust, grease, mold, and other contaminants from emerging;
• DO NOT USE silicate primers, such as “Boro Contact”, as after its application the walls are left with a smooth surface, as if they were “varnished”;
• Primers for decorative plasters with abrasive particles such as “Betonkontakt G-33” by “Terazid” or similar products are suitable.
2. Operating instructions:
• Pour the contents of the package into a suitable container (a large bucket or a sack), add the white cellulose, color additives, glitter, glue, and mix them thoroughly while dry. Then, add 6 liters of lukewarm, clean water per kilogram and let the mixture sit for about 12 hours;
• When the specified time has elapsed, if necessary, you can add more water – up to about 2 liters per 1 kilogram of dry material (depending on the temperature in the room and how much of the water has evaporated);
• For your convenience, prepare 2 packages at the same time, which means you will need to add a minimum of 12 liters of water to them. The remaining material is to be mixed with the next batch.;
• The mixture should be spread evenly and smoothed with a trowel at an angle of 10-15 degrees,
aiming for a layer thickness of 2-3 mm. It is possible to apply the mixture using a machine with a wide nozzle, ensuring a layer thickness of 1 mm;
• In its wet state, the material is slightly translucent, but it develops a more solid color after drying;
• Apply the plaster to the entire wall within one day, without extended breaks in the work process. Do not finish small sections on different days to prevent the appearance of patches;
• Ensure good ventilation and airflow in the room. Do not apply at temperatures below 5˚С!
• Smoothing the visible edges and marks from the trowel can be done by carefully rubbing with wet hands, 5-6 hours after application, when the plaster is slightly dry. Corrections should not be made by layering or reapplying on the dried material, as this will result in patches. For necessary corrections, the section of the wall should be dampened and then either removed or spread while still wet.
3. Achieving a washable wallpaper with high durability:
• Apply the liquid wallpaper mixture onto the walls, wait for it to dry completely, then treat the walls with C-200 Adhesive diluted with water (1:1);
• The liquid wallpaper becomes suitable for wet rooms, balconies, and terraces after treatment with a water-soluble varnish.
Guaranteed high quality of the finished surface with proper adherence to the instructions.
